May I ask what is in a Mexican brownie?

they're just like any standard brownies with the addition of cinnamon. the recipe i tried turned out to be really yummy-- i highly recommend it:

i didn't make the brown sugar topping and they were still fantastic.

Nuala, I made these brownies for a meeting at work yesterday (I added a bit of cayenne to them, too) and they were really, really good. So good in fact, they're all gone:(

so glad you enjoyed them. the cayenne is a great idea.....i actually have a recipe i should send you for chocolate cookies made with cinnamon & cayenne. i haven't tried them yet but i've heard from others that they're really yummy.
